Centreless Grinding
Centreless grinding has been our Forte’ since the 1970’s. We have several Cincinnati and Ghiringhelli grinders and can boast to regularly grinding components to tolerances around 2 to 5 microns. We can offer the centreless grinding of components in diameters ranging from 0.5mm to 200mm diameter, We also grind full bar lengths and we have many customers with sliding head lathes who have their bar shipped directly to us from stockists and mills. We have a premium service for “next day” delivery but this must obviously be saved for the genuine emergency.
We also have straightening machines, ideal for preparing parts that have gone through a heat treatment process, parts are straightened and then ground to achieve the perfect finish. Full length stock bar can also be straightened and ground to required size.

Supplied and fully supported by Prospec Systems Ltd, Datatrack enables full traceability as a standard practice – from quotation stage right through to despatch of goods. Producing Quotations, Works Orders, Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes/Invoices along with Certificates of Conformity – in addition to a range of critical Production Management and Quality Management reports.
Furthermore, our Datatrack system also has the ability to provide a fully functional sequential scheduling tool, helping to ensure we manufacture our customer’s products in the most efficient way possible and ultimately ensuring we meet our customer’s delivery target dates.
