Underpinning our commitment to constantly provide our valued customers with products of the highest quality and supporting our drive towards continuously improving our facilities, capabilities and operational practices, in 2018 we completed our Quality Control capabilities upgrade by constructing a brand new, more spacious, dedicated temperature-controlled Inspection department.
Housing an extensive range of measuring equipment including the usual digital and analogue micrometers, special purpose micrometers, digital calipers, sigma comparators, digital height gauges alongside plug gauges, thread gauges and digital bore micrometres to name a few.
In addition, our Inspection department is also home to our LK G90CS fully CNC controlled Co-ordinate Measuring Machine along with our Numerex semi- manual Co-ordinate Measuring Machine – and our Vision Hawk Dual Optical & Video Measuring Microscope Inspection machine – all calibrated to the latest UKAS standards and in accordance with our robust BS EN ISO9001:2015 compliant Quality Management system.
Our experienced, fully skilled Quality Inspection team, led by our Quality Manager, carry out thorough inspection activities for First-off, In-process/Patrol and Final inspection. Additionally, we can offer FAIR, PPAP and FMEA, SPC amongst others – as required by our customers, and if required we can implement extensive and comprehensive root cause analysis methods including 8D and 4M, 5whys for example.
All of our quality inspection activities are conducted in strict accordance with our regularly audited BS EN ISO9001:2015 compliant Quality Management System to ensure we achieve the highest standards for our customers.
We are a well-established Manufacturing business and always invest in the latest machine tool and cutting technology, giving us the ability to offer our customers a “one stop shop" service using our wide range of plant, skills and expertise.

Supplied and fully supported by Prospec Systems Ltd, Datatrack enables full traceability as a standard practice – from quotation stage right through to despatch of goods. Producing Quotations, Works Orders, Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes/Invoices along with Certificates of Conformity – in addition to a range of critical Production Management and Quality Management reports.
Furthermore, our Datatrack system also has the ability to provide a fully functional sequential scheduling tool, helping to ensure we manufacture our customer’s products in the most efficient way possible and ultimately ensuring we meet our customer’s delivery target dates.
